I always enjoy visiting Buttonwood. Beautiful grounds, knowledgeable staff, great art... And how can you <i>not</i> love a tasting room that plays LP's on an actual turntable??
<P><b>Tasting Notes:</b>
<br>Rosé wines, often referred to simply as "Pinks", divide wine drinkers into three camps - those who only love the sweet White Zinfandel style, those who only love dry European rosé style, and those determined to hate both.
<P>This wine will appeal to lovers of the dry style, and to many of the third camp as well, if they would ever get off their sanctimonious duffs and have a glass with a turkey sandwich with avacado and mayo, or better yet, a toasted cheddar sandwich with pear, bacon and watercress. (Caution: This combination is highly addictive)
<P>This wine reminds me of the blush wines from France, stylistically somewhere between the famous rosés of Provence and those from the Loire.
<P>Less than 400 cases produced.</P>
