Make sure they pick it up and learn exactly how sticky and icky your dry eyeball feels. The material is fascinating stuff – extremely sticky, but does not come off on your fingers, and always returns to its original shape.

REBECCA’S REVIEW

Kids (well, and some adults too) go nuts about this eyeball. I often take them to our exhibits at medical conferences as giveaways and on days when the doctors bring their kids you can see dozens of them running around with eyeballs stuck to their foreheads. At slow times other exhibitors would have eyeball throwing contests (it's not easy to throw something this sticky).

If you let your kids play with it, two cautions: One, don't give it to small children (choking hazard). Two, beware your wallpaper, and if you have high ceilings prepare to need your ladder regularly to get it down.

Who am I? My name is Rebecca Petris and I have had chronic dry eye since undergoing LASIK in July 2001.
