As most of you know, I’m a dyed-in-the-wool Dr. Holly’s Drops fan. But the underlying passion is patient advocacy and raising awareness of all good treatment options. And while I have no interest in stocking eyedrops that you can get in the local drugstore (after all, you can get them there more cheaply and conveniently), I decided I should stock here eyedrops that are based on good science, that are producing good results, and that might not be quite so readily available as others. On that basis Oasis Tears and Tears Plus are a perfect match for the Shop.   Which should I get, regular or “Plus”? Probably Plus. I say this partly just because most people whose dry eye is bad enough that they’re scouring the web for more solutions and products will need the Plus version. So my best recommendation is, start with Plus, see how it is for you, and then consider whether a slightly less viscous version of the same thing may be more useful to you, for exactly at certain times of the day or when you’re feeling better. - The technical difference between the two drops is that Oasis Tears has 0.15% concentration of high molecular weight HA and Tears Plus has 0.3% concentration.    What’s it like? Both tears are very pleasant and smooth-feeling on my eyes. I’ve tried them at various times over this past year. They have never stung me. The regular one does not give me any blurring and the Plus one only minimal.   What's a fair trial?
