<p>This is a beautiful, well designed eye pillow which can be chilled in the refrigerator and used as a soothing eye compress at home, work or while traveling. The pure silk exterior and cotton inner lining make it very comfortable while the beads provide a gentle, flexible way to apply a cool compress.</p>

<p>As a scleral lens wearer, icing my eyes is not practical for me during the day, but I know that it's of essential benefit to many others so I've experimented with a number of products in this category. I think this one has some nice features. It has a very pleasant feel to it and if you want to minimize lid pressure, this is pretty lightweight. The silk cover is of course very gentle on the skin. Only drawback is that the cover is not removeable so it has to be washed whole.</p>
