<p>I love this product. Never used to think I'd need something like this. I have very sensitive eyes & eyelids and find most cleansers irritating, so for years I just used saline and a q-tip. Also, the "pre-moistened pad" type lidscrubs irritate my lids (anything papery does). <br /></p>
<p>I tried out this foam in 2007 and was hooked. I keep a bottle of it in my shower and use it every morning. It's very gentle with a silky sort of feeling when it gets on my lids. I stand with my eyes closed under the showerhead and led the hot water run on them for a bit, then I get some of the foam on my fingertips and gently massage my lids, especially all around my lashes. <br /></p>
<p>If you've got active blepharitis this will probably not be adequate - you'll need an antibacterial of some sort. Talk to your doctor, because sometimes an antibacterial ointment or other Rx may be needed. (Incidentally if you've been using baby shampoo unsuccessfully for a long time, it's time to move on to something more sophisticated. Baby shampoo can be very irritating and can destabilize the tear film.) A lot of my customers have reported good results with Ocusoft Lidscrub Plus - some wipe their lid margins with the pre-moistened pads daily and others use the foam. I used to use the Plus foam once a week and the regular foam the rest of the time till I didn't feel I needed the Plus anymore.<br /></p>
