Intense aromas of passionfruit, coconut, peach, and banana. Upon taste, this Chardonnay showcases nuances of creme brulee, pear, apple, coconut, and vanilla bean. Ample acidity and smooth, silky texture lead into a crisp, lingering finish. Drink now through 2015.

<i>The latest Testarossa bottling from Bien Nacido is a big wine just like its siblings and is much beholden to very rich oak, but just beneath its seductive smells and flavors of vanilla, caramel and sweet cream, there lies lots of ripe, well-defined Chardonnay fruit. A late flourish of slightly citrusy acid serves to both freshen and tighten the wine's finish, and, as much as we like the wine now, we can see it unfolding and becoming significantly better if allowed to rest in the cellar for even two or three more years. </i><br> -Charles Olken
