The longtime favorite workhorse turbo of many, the T3/T4 hybrid turbocharger provides good overal response and supports approximately 450 bench Horsepower (BHP) making it ideal for the streetable BMW engine with a power goal of 400whp or less.<P>
This turbo being reasonably sized along with the fact it is oil cooled only (needing no water lines) makes for an easy install. The T3/T4 hybrid turbo has been a very popular addition to factory and aftermarket turbocharged vehicles for many years.<P><UL>
Inexpensive and durable; T3/T4s are excellent for most 4 & 6cyl applications; though with the advent of knockoff turbos, many T3/T4 turbos are highly questionable in reliability and performance. These are pirated or "bootleg" designs made in low quality factories to very low standards sometimes even with the logos of a trusted name brand. These have been known to crack, seize, and even explode failing quickly and causing engine damage.<P>
These turbos here are genuine authentic <I>Garrett</I>. Factory assembled and balanced for OEM grade reliability, they are spec'ed with a favorite wheel size combination for nice spool up and great performance without killing your budget. They also make great replacements for the "eBay T3/T4 turbos" found in many turbo kits</UL><P>
