Any issues related to the delicate bores and wall thickness issues of the BMWs M6X and S62 V8s can be greatly alleviated, or fixed forever with VAC's world-class Cylinder Sleeving service.<BR>
This is a very delicate and time consuming job, many machine and race shops mistakenly think they can do it successfully but we have seen issues repeatedly.<BR>
With your engine in VAC's hands; you supply a bare block along with the main bearing caps and we do the rest!<UL><BR>
The job starts with full clean, check, and degrease the block.<BR>
The block is then jigged to be machined with special tooling that we made in house, just for this job.<BR>
We then bore the block to fit the new VAC sleeves and the bores are checked.<BR>
Next, the sleeves are measured and pressed into the block. These sleeves are bored and precision honed to desired size to fit the new forged pistons required with the steel sleeves.<BR><BR>
Each VAC sleeve designed for this application is $125 each and a set of our custom CP Forged pistons is $1395 which includes their premium rings, pins, and locks.</UL><BR>
