We assessed from the start that our Intelligent Turbo & Diesel Control Modules should meet all standards of the BMW owner, not just "make power at any cost".<BR>
Our Diesel Modules have been in testing in europe for over a year to make sure that it was ready for its prime time US debut, while the gains are higher on the Euro models, the US spec '35ds still have very good gains with the conservative V1 map.

VAC Diesel control module...<P>
<LI><strong>Our Diesel Modules should be easy:</strong>... Easy to install, easy to move, or easy to remove from the vehicle; even by the novice...Our unit is plug-and-play! Ready to install out of the box, no laptop or programing required. It can be installed and removed as many times as you wish, on any compatible BMW without ill effects. Includes a 'bypass valet key' that lets you disable and remove the IDCM in 10 seconds so <I>no one</I> can access the higher power output map, or steal the unit; you take it with you!<BR><BR>
<LI><strong>It should not require:</strong> "check engine" lights or trouble codes, no flashes, no ECU removal. No permanent modifications. NO PROBLEMS!<BR>
No traces of the IDCM are left behind provided for the dealer to see. Thermal management and fuel management make worries almost non-existent. We are making more power while also keeping in mind not to over-tax the emissions systems or use more fuel. This module goes above and beyond with no issues.<BR><BR>
<LI><strong>It should be elegant:</strong>...Compact, look at home installed, yet rugged enough for the toughest the road and track can dish out. We include an OEM grade harness, and the unit is enclosed in either and extruded aluminum case or rubber enclosed case. Q)Why doesn't BMW offer these gains?<BR>
Well, this is more simple than you might think. They do!<BR> We are not talking about over hyped claims of 25% more performance. We are simply looking for the realistic 10-15% Left on the table by all manufactures to get the most out of what is there from warranty figures etc. You can bet as time martches on, these engines will get more power standard 'seemingly from nowhere'.<P>
Q)With more power, how does my car not consume more fuel?<BR>
This is a logical and completely normal question from a gasoline car perspective. Know that the diesel engine is always ingesting the same amount of air per revolution as there is no throttle plate in a diesel engine. What we do is
alter how fuel is delivered without increasing the amounts of boost or fuel. This technology is certainly new to us living in the US, but for our European and other non-domestic friends is a very popular tuning method on many late model european cars.<P>
