VAC Performance Rear Differentials are built to last with the highest quality components, procedures, and technical expertise.<BR>
Before we were building BMW's, we were building differentials... for 50+ years!<BR><BR>
Your E46 M3 can benefit greatly in performance from our upgraded high performance differentials.<P>
For the street, our two most popular upgraded ratios are 3.91 and 4.10.<BR>
Both are still very usable daily and by compounding the torque that gets to the wheels, provides improved acceleration at all times.<BR>
Engine RPMs with the 4.10 are 3200 RPM @ 80 MPH and
top end speed is still over 170 MPH.<BR>
Out of both ratios, the 4.10 is our preferred for performance.<BR><BR>
For the track our diffs are unreal! Offering the longest time before rebuilds avalible due to our attention to deatail and excelent machine work we offer in house.<P>
We highly recomend our Carbonetic differentials as they offer amazing life, smooth response, and excellent durability. Also, we are the master importer for Quaife BMW applications in North America. These diffs use gears so there are no clutch plates to wear out and are exceedingly smooth with no noise making them perfect for the race car or street car.
