With the original iteration of this product designed and built by VAC for Simeon Mackrides' "Uber E38" custom 740il and fine tuned over years as we do with all products to keep them at the for-front of technology, this fly wheel offer exceptional performance.<BR>
With custom-supercharged built engine, 6 speed transmission, and the goal of building the worlds ultimate no-compromise performance big body BMW, this flywheel had to be up to the challenge of all out racing while delivering perfect street manners.<BR>
This awesome setup has evolved into a package now available to everyone.<P>
This fantastic combination is engineered using the E39 M5 clutch dimensions and layout as a starting point.<BR>
Even with the OEM clutch, this kit will assure that you can put a minimum 400+ HP through the flywheel without any problems as well as keep drivability and noise comfortable enough for quiet daily use.<P>
Using this kit, both straight line vehicle and engine acceleration / deceleration are improved, a characteristic so important for transforming the M62 into a sporty engine.<BR>
This flywheel weighs in at just under 16 pounds in comparison to the 38lb factory flywheel; 22 LBS LIGHTER than the original and perfectly weighted. This gives you durability, performance and comfort; as your BMW was intended to deliver but now with more more performance potential.<P>
Just like all our products, this flywheel is precision machined so well that they balance out perfectly every time, and the best fasteners are used throughout.<BR>
