Send in your inline-6 BMW exhaust manifold or header, and receive back a media blasted and gorgeously coated part that looks fantastic and offers exceptional heat insulating properties. Both of the finishes listed offer amazing performance and are coated inside and out for better corrosion resistance, more heat reduction and best appearance.<P><IL>
Jet Hot's "Sterling" coating is the best choice for most BMW customers: It looks fantastic with a semi-gloss silver-like finish, and works amazing to keep exhaust heat where it belongs; in the exhaust and out of your engine bay!<BR>
This means your exhaust system will resist rust, last longer, look great, allow your engine to make more power, and keep heat down under the hood so the intake receives the greatest amount of fresh, cool air. We love it!<P><UL>
<I>From Jet Hot</I><BR>
<B>STERLING SILVER</B> is our brightest looking finish. It comes out looking like a very highly polished aluminum. This coating can withstand temperatures up to 1,300ºF and will reduce skin temps on pipes by about 300ºF. It is a very low maintenance finish, easily cleaned with soap and water. You can use any non-abrasive aluminum polish to bring out the shine if it ever gets dirty. It will never turn blue or gold like chrome or stainless. This coating works great on normally aspirated engines and any parts that need to have a show quality finish.<P>
<B>EXTREME STERLING</B> is very similar in appearance to Sterling but not quite as shiny/bright. It will hold its shine 200ºF higher and can actually withstand temps up to 1,700ºF. This amazing finish normally cuts down about 400ºF on the skin temperature of pipes. This coating is great for mild turbocharged or supercharges applications, or on pipes that have turned grey with other silver finishes.</UL><P>
