A popular modification for many BMWs is a sports shifter or "short shift" kit. The idea is to shorten the throw between gears to make the gear change quicker for the driver.<BR><BR>
However...The E30 M3 has a less than ideal gearbox when it comes to smooth gear changes, and many company's short shift kits have been know to aggravate this problem further.<BR>
