<H1>2007 Small Lot Grenache -- Wente Vineyards Shopping Cart</H1> 2007 Small Lot Grenache Vineyard: Sourced entirely from our Marina Ranch in the Livermore Valley, these grapes were ultra-farmed, handpicked into half-ton bins, and hand sorted in order to ensure premium quality. The grapes were gently crushed into stainless steel tanks and pumped over twice daily in order to maximize color and tannin extraction until primary fermentation was completed prior to moving into barrel. Fermentation: Fermented in stainless steel tanks and pumped over twice daily. Aging: The Grenache was aged in neutral oak for 10 months. The Syrah was aged for 13 months in French, American, Eastern European, and neutral oak. The Counoise was aged for 12 months in French, American, Eastern European, and neutral oak. Description: This is a beautiful example of Livermore Valley Grenache, with lush cranberry, cherry and cinnamon flavors complemented by hints of cedar and lavender. It is a medium-bodied wine with balanced acidity and medium tannins that continue on through the finish.
