<H1>2005 Small Lot Eric's Chardonnay -- Wente Vineyards Shopping Cart</H1> 2005 Small Lot Eric's Chardonnay~On the nose, enjoy fresh, crisp hints of grapefruit and lemon, some flintiness. These aromas are followed by above average acidity, bright green apple with a steely character and a long, crisp, citrusy finish. <table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" width="500"> <tr valign="top"> <td width="400"> <img src="https://secure5.nexternal.com/wente/images/wentelogo_co_sm.gif" width=100 height=48 border=0 alt="" align="left"> 2005 Small Lot Eric's Chardonnay The vineyards are planted in a combination of Livermore gravel (rocky soil with excellent drainage) in the flatlands, and a slightly richer gravel soil on the sloping hillside. All of the vineyards are sustainably farmed and hand-harvested in the early morning hours. Vineyard Cold fermented in stainless steel and racked into stainless steel after primary fermentation.
