This is a very attractive ’05 Pernand. The nose is quite broody with touches of wild hedgerow and cut grass that give way to some natural, rustic, stalky red-berried. The palate is cohesive with fine tannins and a nice sense of natural tension and poise. Light wild strawberry and red cherries on the finish. Lots of rustic charm. Drink over 2-3 years with pleasure.
