"The crimson-colored 2007 Paso Doble is a blend of 30% Malbec, 30% Syrah, 20% Bonarda, and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 12 months in French oak, 20% new. The nose reveals cedar, spice box, pepper, blueberry, and black cherry. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, the wine has plenty of spicy, savory fruit, good balance, and a forward personality. Drink this excellent value over the next four years.
Bodega Poesia is owned by Bordeaux proprietors Helene Garcin and Patrice Leveque, with Leveque doubling as winemaker with consultation from Dr. Alain Raynaud. Women owned winery!" - Jay Miller, Wine Advocate
