Michaud Vineyard Sangiovese 2004 -- Wine Sense Shopping Cart
$32.99
Michaud's Chalone Sangiovese showcases the famed Italian varietal's potential in the Chalone AVA. Displaying red cherry, cranberry and pomegranate flavors with a mineral underpinning. Chalone's growing conditions also help keep sangiovese's naturally high acidity in check, resulting in a wine that is well-structure and accessible. Drinking well now, particularly with an hour or so of decanting, this wine will develop nice secondary aromatic and taste characteristics with a couple of years of bottle age-if you can hold onto it that long.
