MANA Pinot Noir is a typical New Zealand Pinot Noir. New Zealand Pinot Noir tends to have more minerality than Oregon, California or French Pinot Noir. You lose the earthiness found in those other regions but gain the minerals. I love earthiness/mushrooms but this is a nice change. It is somewhat seductive the way it flows down your throat. It is silky smooth. I love the violets that seem to burst out of this wine. It is medium bodied and balances fruit, acidity and tannins beautifully. 1200 cases made
