<p>Our 2004 Estate Merlot's color is a very dark red. Aromas of cedar, figs, and dried prunes with fine toasty oak fill the nose. The mouth-feel is medium bodied, filled with lush fresh fruit of red cherries, cranberries, pomegranate and dark chocolate and roasted coffee beans. A lip-smacking finish with great play between the fruit, acidity and well-integrated oak. The tannins are layered, making this a very food-friendly wine, with a great backbone and aging potential. </p>
<p>Our 2005 Pinot Noir is dark red brick in color. The aroma is amazing! Loaded with wild berries, fine strawberry, spices, sandalwood and toasted oak. The mouth-feel is rich and concentrated. Layers of ripe tannins are packed with ripe fruit of black cherries, cranberries and some prunes. The finish is long and very focused, underlining the great aging potential this wine has. I compare this vintage to our 1995, which was my favorite Pinot Noir up to now.</p>
