Tasting Notes
"A blend inspired by the opera term for an improvised personal expression at the end of an Aria, this blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre blends together the array of flavors and terroirs of the estate, as well as being driven to create a common name for Grenache blends that are unique to the McLaren Vale appellation. Flavors of Blackberry, bing cherry, mulberry, plums, nuts and subdued oak flavors slowly tapering off to a lingering finish." - PETER FRASER, Winemaker
• 93 Points , Wine Spectator - "Smart Buy" "A vivid red, rich and velvety, brimming with plum, blackberry and cherry flavors wrapped in a veil of very fine tannins, weaving a dark chocolate note through the long, generous finish. Best from 2008 through 2015." - Harvey Steiman, July 2006
• 3 1/2 Stars , WineState Magazine Australia - "A good granche style with clean, defined, fleshy fruit. Nice meaty complexity on the nose and a rich and rewarding palate." - May/June 2006
