Staying in step with the whims of our Founder, Rosa Lee, we are eager to share California’s second most planted white grape variety with you. Pinot Grigio’s heritage actually stems from Pinot Noir, and produces grapes with a grayish pink color. Sourced from the cool Carneros growing region, we harvested on the last day of September at a ripe 26.5 degrees brix. A long cold fermentation in stainless steel barrels helped capture this variety’s mouth-watering character. With aromas of ripe peach, apricot, pineapple and honeysuckle, the wine is rich, succulent and round with a lingering finish, yet still exposing some minerality notes.
