After almost three years of “resting” in American Oak barrels, it was time to wake up this powerful, intensely flavored 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. A blend of our best Napa Valley lots, this 2006 Reserve Cabernet is a perfect example of our belief in the art of blending. Sourced from several small, intensely farmed, low yielding vineyards, fermented and aged separately for one year in our state of the art cellar, this wine reflects the best of the stellar 2006 vintage. With intense aromas of black cherry, cassis and plum, this dense core of ripe fruit is complemented with subtle hints of coffee, vanilla and toasted nuts. The wine is well structured on the palate and lush, silky tannins integrate beautifully with the fruit and lead into an incredibly long, rich finish.
