A Heart Gripping Revelation
From Sam Sadlier of Wellington, New Zealand on .
A couple of days ago I received 'The Key' in the mail. With great expectation I started reading and was not disappointed - but, surprisingly recognised certain teachings given by the Master such as, 'Remember this - path within, signposts without'. I also came to realise that the 'visitor of light' in my teenage years was a 'radiant one' visiting from another realm. Wonderful!
So much of what I read left me speechless, sighing and physically gripping my chest - my hand over my heart, eyes closed. I could not carry on reading and had to do 'something' to recover from the impact of sudden understanding.
I paled outwardly in disbelief and tears filled my eyes over the Masters answer to Whitleys question, 'What is our future?'
There is something quite tangible about the conversation that remains deeply embedded, within reach - in each word and sentence spoken by the Master.
I look forward to discovering more and sharing this rare gem with whoever will hear!
This book will disappear
From Beverly Dhaliwal of Suffolk, Virginia on .
This will be my fourth purchase. I purchased two the first time in print and a kindle version this go round. Every hard copy I purchase seems to disappear! The kindle version I still have and love, but I love the feel of pages and weight of a true book. So, where do you suppose my books go? It really is a mystery, as has been much of my life. Nice to have an understanding place to belong! Thanks Whitney and Ann.

I intend on keeping this one because I get Whitley's autograph in this copy!!! The truth in this book is unprecedented! I have not found another book with this much truth in it! If you read one book in your life make sure it is this one!
Thank you

A valued primer on life elevated. Very profound. Very humane. I find myself like many other reviewers regularly drawn back to The Key both to more fully understand it and to be closer to such positive thoughts.
I wonder why Whitley seems to have moved off to other areas of interest - possibly the assumed financial demands of our common existence dictate this? Alternatively, the experience of meeting the master of the key may be unique to each of us, with Whitley serving more as a conduit than a recipient inspired to dig deeper.
I know not where this will lead me personally but I both know intellectually and sense intuitively that it has and will help me to be a better person.
Thank you Whitley for The Key.
The Key
From Lewis Michael Rhinehart of Hohenwald, Tennessee on .
The Key was no less than outstanding ! It is a mind expander and well worth the read. It is inspiring and chilling at the same time. A real wake-up call. My only disappointment was that I was supposed to receive an autographed copy which I did not. Now this would be minor to most but Communion set me on my path of truth and I have the highest regard for Whitley Strieber. Again, I would reccomend this book to ALL !, LMR

The one book everyone must read
From Pete Cyrog of Santa Clarita, California on .
I am reading "The Key" for the 3rd time. Each time I find I have not remembered enough and I am thrilled by what I discover again. It tells us what our religions have not told us. It tells us how to live our lives so we can continue in this universe and not be left behind.
If you love our planet, everyone you know MUST read this book! Whether they will understand its implications is up to them. At least they will have a chance to fulfill their destiny and escape the violence and destruction of our childish behavior.

One small book; One GIANT Spiritual leap for mankind
From Anonymous of Kaysville, Utah on .
"THE KEY" is the exactly the correct title for it.
I have shared this book with many people, and some of them were not ready for its radically mind-blowing messages, and therefor shunned away from it in fear. And so I have learned to be a bit more selective about who I share it with.
I feel this is an important book which requires a very unique approach to it. I recommend that people first read through it with a light & objective point of view, taking it in all in with a "grain of salt," so to speak. This 'causal' first time reading approach to 'The Key' can help readers to not get too hung up on some of the heavier concepts that may not be easily swallowed or understood at first, which can cause some people to reject the entire book, and miss out on gaining any of its priceless wisdom.
So I think we must present this book to new people with care and help prepare them for its content in ways we feel right about. For this is definitely not a book meant to be tossed around like some kind of New Age candy fluff!
Its a remarkable book which for so many people seems to reveal its truth over time, sometimes weeks after its been read.
After I first read The Key, I remember feeling kind of a bit disappointed by it, as though I had expected it to be more profound. But in the weeks following, I started having suddenly epiphanies or 'AHA-like' realizations, In which I was suddenly understanding things I had read in The Key on a whole new and amazing level. It was like part of me or my soul was recognizing the truth, the reality of what I had read.....as if on some sleeping level I had always known it inside.

A Precious Jewel Of A Book
From 'Somerset' Bob Kingsley of Weston-super-Mare, England on .
A reading of this short but very powerful book will change the way you view yourself and our planet, as well as bringing about a reassessment of your relationship with God. Many readers find they return to it again and again, gaining further valuable insights into the purpose of life in this world - and beyond.
It's an uplifting, positive - sometimes even shocking - read, containing astonishing new information pertaining to our past as well as our future. It addresses many questions concerning our present climatological predicament, such as why we find ourselves in this dreadful situation in the first place, and provides a unique vision of a future where human souls, freed from the spiritual ignorance that's kept us chained to the ground for so long, experience the joy that comes with understanding the true nature of objective consciousness - to "row the boat of being toward ecstasy."
This is a precious and rare jewel of a book.

this book makes more sense to me than any religious teaching has ever done. i find myself reading certain sections over and over, trying to grasp the great meanings. this book has massive depth and subtlety. personally, i trust whitley strieber and admire his courage and i don't give that

Still troubling, still worthy...
From Ian of Preston, Lancashire, England on .
The Key is a remarkable book. I still can't seem to fully accept it, nor deny it. It sticks in the mind and forces you to think anew. I just hope that Whitley isn't making all this up (on purpose) because he would be the lowest of the low.
And if he's not making it up? Then psychotic episodes? Visions? Dreams? Reality?
The Truth?
I really don't know. What I do know, however, is that 'The Key' is an important book.
In these terrifying and uncertain times, we need a positive message of hope. The incentive to work towards a better world. The Key puts forward the idea that it can happen. And that the power lies in our hands and in our hearts.
Highly Recommend

If anyone but Whitley Strieber had written this book, I would have thought it to be fiction and would not have believed it. It is so profound that I hope a few things are mistakes of his memory of that night. Everyone should read it just in case everything is correct!!!

This Master of the Key clearly knew-or somehow accessed-knowledge way beyond what any of us know. The first time I read this I was deeply disturbed by it. Then we moved and I lost track of the book, only to find it when I unpacked. I re-read it but this time, my entire approach was different and I got MUCH MORE out of it! DO read it TWICE!

Please note that this review is on my website thecosmogenesis.com.
It’s only been the past year or two that I have been aware of who Whitley Streiber is. I never read his books because I was never interested in reading much until a few years ago. I like to think of it as my soul wasn’t ready to find this information until it was time, and for the past few years I have been on an exceedingly fast paced path that has led me where I am now. Since discovering Whitley’s website, www.unknowncountry.com, I have learned of Whitley some what, listen to his show, Dreamland, that he presents there and have found Whitley (and his wife Anne) to be the most sincere sounding people of whom I feel are truly good. I have not read Whitley’s other books, but from what I have learned from his website he’s been through a great deal of strangeness.
I decided to get this book on a whim. The sound of the title seemed intriguing and for an introduction to Whitley’s work I felt this might be a good start considering it’s only a little over 100 pages. When I got the book I began to read it and 3 hours later I had read the entire book.
What I found was that this book is extremely important. I feel pain in the fact that I didn’t find it until now because what it retains has released something inside of me that I’ve carried around my whole life. In order for me to explain thoroughly what I mean I need to explain what it has done for me personally.
All of my life I have always felt this nudge behind me pushing me along into directions that seem as if something/someone were pushing me into the paths that I need to take. When I turned 11 years old I encountered a dream. The first of many to come, and certainly not the last of weird experiences in my life, but this first dream has lingered in my mind even 18 years later. It has only been in the past 10 years that I can honestly say I have sought out truths, and in the past 5 years these truths seem to be coming to me that have led me where I am now. This dream is important and what I find will lead up to Whitley’s book (and there is a point to all of this, I swear!).
I’m obviously with a group of people on some kind of tour through this Christian church. It’s typical with white walls and we’re first going down this hall way. I’m at the back of the group because I become entranced with the artwork on the walls (I am an artist after all). I come to this one painting and look directly at it. The painting had a name plate that said “The Gate to God”. The painting was very simple, with one huge ring and many concentric rings following to the middle. I’ve made paintings and illustrations trying to recapture what this painting looked like in the dream but I have yet to make one that feels genuine.
I begin to stare at the painting, and a sound begins. The sound was a sustained tone, deep sounding, and in the chord of E. It’s a tone vibration that vibrated my whole body when it was happening. And as I kept looking at this painting, the sound became louder and louder. I began to feel as if the painting were pulling me into it, and the concentric circles began move and move inward as if it were doing some sort of tunnel like suction on me to pull me in. As I’m being pulled in, I begin to get worried about what’s going on. To me at the time it wasn’t something normal, and things like this would scare anyone much less an 11 year old boy. So I manage to pull myself out of it. It was a vortex, and that’s all I could feel that it was. I then go to catch up with the rest of the group who were already far away from me in another room.
I catch up with the group and we’re in this room where everyone is seated. It’s a seating arrangement where there where just chairs, but you could tell they had sermons here and the room was full of kids my age. There was a man, a preacher who was at the front of the room. He was speaking to everyone and preaching about God. The priest speaks and asks everyone “How would you all like to go to God, be with him, and still be able to come back alive?” The obvious reaction was yes! And he continues with “Well, I can show you all a way that it can be done, and we all can visit God with out dying”. He then goes into a weird language that I could not understand at all. His hands were up in the air with his palms up speaking to the ceiling. After awhile everyone began to float upward and lift out of their chairs. We levitate up to the ceiling and the ceiling becomes translucent where people were going right through as if the ceiling was translucent. Sadly, when I got to the ceiling, it stops for me. I don’t go through and I began to really wonder why I’m not going through. I then began to slowly fall back down (at this point no one was left but me). I drift down and the room becomes another room. It was green all over. I remember the walls being dark seaweed green and I slowly was seated on a lighter green couch. At this point I cannot move. I can move my eyes and maintain breathing, but as for moving my body something had gained control over that. A psychologist might call this sleep paralysis. I had never had this occur to me in a dream before, but I wasn’t too scared about it.
I sat on the couch for awhile just looking around and all of the sudden a door opens from the ceiling; a door that was like a pull down ladder to an attic. As it opened light blazes through and shines as it opens more and more. The attic ladder folds down and I see a person walking down. It’s me walking out of it. It's me with a calm and blissful look. I view this experience through the eyes of me who’s sitting on the couch watching what appears to be me coming down from the ladder. Mid way down I stop and turn to look back up in hole from which I came and another person partially comes down. Not enough to see his face, but enough to see he was wearing some kind of robe garment. My initial feel was this was God or Jesus. He extends his hand and in his hand he has a scroll. He hands me (on the ladder) the scroll and says “read these words and you will find me”. The me on the ladder turns around then goes down the ladder to the floor and walks towards me. As I do this the attic like door/ladder closes and sits by the me that is viewing all of this happening. For moments it is just me sitting by me and I’m wondering what’s going on, and what could be in this scroll. The other me is just looking forward not even acknowledging me. I wake up.
The Key is about a true conversation that Whitley had on June 6, 1998. A man came knocking on Whitley’s secret hotel room after a night of signing books and this book is based off the conversation Whitley had with this strange man at three o’clock in the morning. The book is filled with information that is so powerfully revealing that it left me awe struck. Whether or not Whitley’s book, The Key, comes from a genuine source it doesn’t matter, because all that matters is what I gained from it. It’s just the same as you believing or not believing that I ever had my dreams and experiences. It’s your choice. You just need to feel for yourself who is speaking the truth and who is not in this world. I believe Whitley is speaking the truth, and I also believe these are the words that God said to read to find God. It has filled me with knowledge that I will carry forever, and I thank God for having Whitley release such a book. This is the words with in the scroll. Now my dream(s), experiences and souls life has began to make even more sense and understanding what I need to do with it. If that’s not powerful enough for you to want to read this book, then nothing will be.
the most important book
From Anonymous of New Orleans, Louisiana on .
There is no other book like the Key. I treat it as a sacred text, but I mean sacred in a different way than I apply it to the Bible or other texts of the ancients. It is like an update on the catalyst part of "sacred." Open your Bible/Koran/Torah/ancient text "randomly;" read the first line. Go outside and do your day's tasks. Then, try the same with the Key. Sacred update.

From Reese Ella Howard of East Bernard, Texas on .
I've read and re-read The Key at least a hundred times, and that estimate is conservative. For me, the most intriguing part are the hints of an ancient, advanced civilization in the Ice Ages that has been lost to us. There are many anomalies on earth that make a very convincing case for it. I just hope and pray it's not true that we're forced to be reincarnated. No way, Jose! I refuse.
Read this, whether you believe all or part of it, or if you disbelieve it. No matter how you feel about the Master's words, you'll be fascinated.

Some of the most ancient questions ever asked by humanity are answered in this book by the Master Of The Key.The answers you will read are the most beautifull and simple as you could never imagine.
They make sense,so logical and perfect.
It has changed someone like me,a lost catholic, into someone with a huge feeling of warmth inside, that we are part of something amazing and we always have been.We all need however,to realize this!
Everything and everyone is GOD,and GOD is not supernatural,GOD is natural,GOD is science,GOD is detectable and our souls are a natural reality, inside us and all around us at all times!

Whilst reading, the pieces seems to almost unnoticed fall in place inside linking in with the wonders, questions, premonitions that I already have. I have the feeling this book is of the more important of contributions to mankinds waking up. I have a hunch, an instinct of there being something very important and rare to get with this book. A great sense of urgency is embedded in its message, I
understand Whitley have something the same about it.

During the first few pages your Ego may say No! No! but your soul will say Yes! Yes! and propel you straight through this book like a freight train.
I do have a compelling interest in self-realization and technological meditation and my practice is such, so I have read a few books on the subject. This book has helped me link all of the information I have ever read into something finally comprehensible about who we are and where we're going.
I encourage you to listen to Whitley's mp3's that follow the book and I hope there are more coming! I listened to them first, but could not buy the book because it was not available. I am very grateful it was reprinted. We should be so lucky that there are people like Whitley left upon the earth that are willing to brave harrassment and ridicule, because no doubt this book will help many people "move on". I wish I could buy this book for everyone in the world.

From Ian Armer of Preston, Lancashire,, England on .
Do I trust it or not? Parts of it make sense, other parts seem far-fetched. There's always a danger that we will believe what we want to believe, regardless of truth. I am not doubting that this happened to Whitley, nor that this conversation took place - I think it would be fair to suggest that if you read this book, you will be challenged, at times made to feel that it all makes sense - and at other times, frustrated because some of what is said (filtered through Whitley's memory?) seems more than a little unbelievable. And yet I've always had a soft spot for Whitley - even if I've not always agreed with his views. He appears to be one of the sanest men trying to figure out this strange mess - maybe not always succeeding - but with dignity and honesty, which is a plus.
"The Key" will challenge, make you think - deeply - about life and how you live it. Some of it echoes "Transformation" (a little too much at times - did it happen for real or was it Whitley's reality - or another reality?) but I can recommend it. I, personally, read the book often because it makes me look at myself and I catch myself "sleeping" when I should be Awake!

Arguably The Most Important Book 2,000 Years
From Jeremy Vaeni of New York, New York on .
The title sounds like an overstatement, right? But considering that this book is so thin and every page is packed with more punch than books quadruple its size, and considering that some of the information became THE COMING GLOBAL SUPERSTORM, which became THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW which became required viewing for Chinese ecologists, um... I'd say this is great circumstantial evidence that there are "higher beings" (or aliens, or what have you) that directly influence humanity. I mean--they did, right???
Why is Whitley Strieber not being studied by science? Here's a man who predicted future events as accurately as Orwell with, NATURE'S END. Here's a man who was the main catalyst in waking up the world to the presence of aliens in our daily lives with COMMUNION. And now here's a man who with this simple, slight book has changed the public discourse or global warming.
Whitley is laughed at and then proven right; laughed at and then proven right. This is the pattern and were a bunch of damn fools to not see him as the hidden sage that he is. There is no denying that he acts as a conduit through which these other beings relay messages that somehow, some way pierce the collective at just the right time.
THE KEY, in my estimation, is far and away the one book every literate on the planet needs to read right now. This has little to do with Whitley as a writer per se and everything to do with who Whitley is to these higher beings.
If those in officialdom who laugh him off just before he is proven right could just get over themselves and go straight for the "proving" part, how advanced our world would become overnight.
Not the Anti-Christ!
From Anonymous of Tampa, Florida on .
I just cannot resist replying to the last review of the Key. How stupid it is, and how arrogant those fundamentalists are, who imagine that they can judge others. THEY are the people of Satan, those who will be cast down into the pit! Meanwhile, the compassion of people like the Master of the Key, who would never in a million years judge anybody, much less claim to be God's messneger like these sick fundies do, will lift them, and those of us who accept their wisdom, into the presence of God.

I've heard about this amazing stranger before!
From Tempted of Phoenix, Arizona on .
My apologies for not reading the book, but I was provoked by the interesting claims of a stranger telling the author things he'd never heard before. You know... that we can be "co-creators with God". That we can achieve a god-like equality with God. On second thought this sounds incredibly familiar. This was the first temptation given to mankind in the Garden of Eden. The devil presented himself as a serpent and sold the idea that mankind could share equality with God. Check it out. It's in Genesis. It's not new. And believing the serpent doesn't end so well...
Simple yet very important
From Mike Clelland! of Driggs, Idaho on .
This is a very simple book. It could be a script for a one act stage play. Just a dialogue in a hotel room. But it's profound, and very important. It's short, and initially it's a quick read, but you'll find yourself going back to it again and again, as the layers get deeper and the insights more amazing. More than any book Whitley has written, this one successfully tackles the BIG questions!
Also, this web site has a wonderful companion to the book. Subscribers MUST listen to Whitley as he discusses this small book in the audio department, listed under WHITLEY'S ROOM.

This book parallels another that I read and helps to explain how to "get home" from this endless revolving door of reincarnation. The Master who visited Whitley tells it like it is and explains one way to evolve into the majestic beings that we truly are. Mysterious
From Michael Hemmingson of San Diego, California on .
I read this book in the wee hours out in the Anza-Borrego desert while I was having trouble sleeping. Not to say this book put me to sleep! I enjoyed it very much, and set me thinking on many things...I don't know if this encounter is true or if Whtlley is using the "old man" as a vehicle (much in the way Don Duan Mateus was for Castaneda) for Whitley's opinions, predictions, and philospohies that's he's gathered from his "experiences." That doesn't matter. There's a lot of "truth" in this book. I need to re-read again...and perhaps again...
My one dislike was the production value of the book...which wasn't much. It was poorly designed, looks and feels too much like a POD book. I thought it should've been printed with a smaller trim size.

The questions are straight forward but the answers enigmatic and powerful, but far from simple to understand. The Master of the Key makes you work at it, challenging your world view and most importantly your view of 'Self'. Like the words from the movie Matrix "There is no spoon", the message seems to be "There is no self".
This book is so powerful, it will likely stand the test of time and perhaps be know 500 years from now as The Book of Whitley.

From AJ McGettigan of San Jose, California on .
For anyone interested in spiritual evolution, or the dynamics of ecstasy, this is a must read.
Whitley says, "This is the most important book I've written." For many people, it could be the most important book they'll ever read.
The Key is not just another book about spirituality, it is a marvelous contemplative tool--one that can literally facilitate communication with the radiant world.
Blessings of gratitude to the Master of the Key and to Whitley for making the message available.
Provoking
From EJ of Dresden, Maine on .
I enjoyed The Key very much and found it to be a quick read due to it's gripping nature and dialogue format. It left me thinking that perhaps the Master of the Key was a being that may not of been of 100% Light, as few, but some of his statements appear to be deliberatly confusing, sometimes contradicting themselves. Well.....nobody is perfect, and in general I think what was offered is worth reading and worth giving serious thought to. Since I read it I have often thought about it's contents throughout my day.
A beautiful message

This book is a reminder of how precious humanity is. We are gifted a lifetime of human experience and a mind unlike any other on this planet with which to process our experience. This book gives comfort and reminds one not to waste time. Life is divine.
Changed My Perception...
From Anonymous of Maple Shade, New Jersey on .
The key changed my perception of life. The idea of true compassion as spoken by the Master of the Key would change the world forever if practiced.
What an Amazing Unique Eye-Opener!!!
From John True of Kansas City, Missouri on .
I love this book. It pulled me into its world. It was if it was creating itself anew in my mind as I read it, as if it were telling me how to read it and whispering times I should re-read it. Perhaps I am an old soul? Perhaps it was a part of God (the Universe)'s Plan that I read this and get somethig out of it? I dare not speculate further on such esoteric matters here.
I have nad no real paranormal experiences. No UFO sightings, no sightings at all. I am but a simple man. But, it was from this very book that I realized that I have a new title for myself. Not a name, as Whitley explains in his enlightening audios on this book (please, keep them coming!), but a mission. Later I found out this term was used by Ancient Egyptian Mystics [see 2 M. Gullah (sp.?) books here, 1 being Egyptian Misconception]. My idea was to call myself TruthSeeker, because of my last name and my explorations into the truth. I got this from "The Key".
Then I read the Egyptian books and find out they called themselves Truth Seeker and Truth Knowers. Wow!

A gem of wisdom
From M Vigilante of Charlotte, North Carolina on .
Don't start reading the Key if you don't have a few hours free, because you won't dare put it down. There is something that happens inside when we are presented with and recognize universal truths & cosmic wisdom. The Master of the Key obviously possessed greater cosmic knowledge and Whitley was smart enough to write it all down. This book was a life changing experience... it had me saying..Yes..Yes..YES!!!!! The Key is indispensable reading for those on the path.

Manditory Reading
A Must Read!!!
From Kevin Stacey of Baxters Harbour, Nova Scotia on .
This book resonated through my soul. It spoke in the "big picture" manner which our species so desperately needs instead of piecemeal bits of truth among millions of words in bibles, spiritual books, etc. It is the only book on which spoke to me on my level. A level that transcends the dogma of religion.

The Mystery School in your Hand
From Vance Socci of San Jose, CA, California on .
I've read and even catalogued the knowledge of Whitley's account of his encounter with the Grey headed man of mystery, and I found it totally fascinating and sometimes more than vaguely familiar.
There is a phenomenon known as a "Mystery School", where people find themselves one way or the other treated to certain secret knowledge from those who came before them. As near as I can see, Whitley was treated to a one-night crash Mystery School, and his sharing with us has resulted in a Handheld Mystery School named "The Key".
I thought it was interesting that the Key Master associated himself with some form of Masonry, and that he mentioned an integration of Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam. This idea of coalescing the world's great religions seems to underlie Masonic thought; for example, the Masonic Shriners philanthropic fraternity's symbology is very much tied to Moslem imagery. So this may be a clue to the identity of the Key Master, and perhaps a link to a greater organization behind him that is concerned with the subjects of The Key.
Overall I more than enjoyed the book; in a certain sense that I seem to discover a piece at a time, it has become a part of my life's journey toward my greater destiny.
Angels do not fear to tread---anywhere
From Anonymous of Leander, Texas on .
Many years ago, I read a book by Whitley Strieber entitled "Communion". I feel that I have been on a journey with him ever since the day my eyes were first drawn to the dark-eyed being on the cover.
After reading "Communion", my deepest feelings were to reach out to a complete stranger and just assure him that he would be ok. I realized from the beginning that, whatever was happening in Whitley's reality, it was really all about overcoming fear.
I recently got the gumption to finally purchase and read "The Key". It is both frightening and inspiring, and raises even more questions than it answers. It is about many things, but mainly about overcoming fear. I experienced a weird sense of deja vu on each and every page of this important little book. It was as if I already knew these things, but had pushed them to the back of the deepest, darkest corners my conscious mind. The fear can no longer be denied. Now that it has been exposed and recognized, it just has to go. Period.
Our biggest fear is not aliens from another world, or even the destruction of our world. "The Key" is within and will allow you to open the door to your true idenity, if you are ready to face the darkness.
You must read this book!!!
From a.leigh of Austin, Texas on .
This book is truly the key to opening up your mind. I thought my mind was open only to find I have so much more to do with my life. I found that I am reading it over and over. The truth is the key.
May we all wake up.
Most Highly Recommended
From Lila Wakley of XXXXXXXXXXXX, Idaho on .
As an avid reader and explorer of ideas for most of my life [many decades], THE KEY shares # 1 place with only one other book for truths...some instantly recognized, but more acknowledged after much deep thought;...and still layer after layer peels back. IT is at once the most profound, yet easily-readable book I have ever read. I have purchased 14 copies for gifts and loans[so far], plus keep another 3 at fingertip-locations at home for continual reference and re-reading. If I could, I'd give everyone in the world a copy. I have questioned it, but it always prevails. I trust it.
Everyone should read this
From Neil of Paris, France on .
I read this twice on the day I received it, and twice more since, and I know I will read it many times again. Whether the "Master of the Key" is a real person or a part of Strieber's wonderful imagination is almost irrelevant. Here is an account of reality's nature and of the soul that is plausible, moving, internally consistent and has all the force of truth. Rarely has any book inspired, excited and moved me as much as The Key. Certainly it leaves a lot of unanswered questions: questions, as Strieber has said "that can neither be answered nor ignored". But almost for the first time we are also given useful information of stunning clarity and brilliance, like the definition of sin - "the denial of the right to thrive".
Is this an authentic Q&A session with Christ or simply Whitley at his best? I don't know, but whatever The Key is, no one can afford to ignore it. It's one of those rare books that makes you want to buy a dozen copies and give them to everyone you love.

It is no coincidence Toronto was chosen.I believe Whitley was visited by a small Man In Black, maybe the same one I was?
My records are freely availiable. Some of my tales make good reading.I was into writing in school as well, even earned a couple of rewards.
I am also on the AAER site as St. George.
The Key
From Lyle Lacey of Indianapolis, Indiana on .
The best paranormal book ever. I had to put the book down and think about some of the things that the master of the key had said. The things he said required much thought. If you think upon the words he spoke it cannot help to transform the way you see the world.
