My mom's friend actually visited Alaska and came back with a few pouches of Alaska's Best, peppered variety. My mom thought of me and gave me some. Absolutely delicious. Just the right amount of spice & heat, and the salmon tasted FRESH, to my surprise. I'm used to tough and unappealingly chewy (beef) jerky, tasteless or far too seasoned. Again, I was surprised by the very pleasant texture and subtle taste. As soon as I can I am going to purchase some more and have it shipped to my house.

I received some of this jerky as a gift from a family member who lives in Alaska. Absolutely love it! I immediately looked at the package for the company website. I will definitely be buying more and having it shipped to me in California!
