Cara Mia Vineyard, Red Mountain 92% Cabernet Franc 8% Merlot
Our greatest portion of Cabernet Franc in a Cara Mia wine since the 2017 100% Cabernet Franc (if you are lucky enough to have the ’17 in your cellar it is drinking fabulously with an hour in the decanter.) This is Cabernet Franc at its American finest (heck, it’ll stand toe to toe with any Franc in the world.) Massively aromatic, Bel Canto leads with floral notes, plums, baking spices and herbs. The palate follows with layers of fruit, superb lift, gorgeous texture and immense length. Nothing is out of place.
