The comparison of Camerata to Cabernet Sauvignon is fascinating and a study of the blending art. We build on the core Cabernet with additional layers of cherry fruit, floral complexity, deeper flavors and finer, longer tannins. It is fair to say the Merlot adds texture and, yes, structure while the Petit Verdot brings an acid verve and racy purple fruit to the blend. Camerata is tightly wound and set for long term ageing, perfectly satisfying our criterion for a reserve level wine.
