1922 was the first year World Series rings were ever given to the World Champions. In prior years players were presented with pendants, fobs or watches. Ralph Shinners ( his name is engraved in script inside the band) played 37 games in his rookie season with the 1922 World Champion New York Giants. The ring itself shows very little wear but the diamond which sits in the center of the baseball diamond design on top of the ring is chipped. 14K. Manufactured by Dieges & Clust
Size: 11.5
