This much-anticipated series, in CD format, is a re-releae of studio recordings made in 1992 that feature over 70 Spanish-speaking performers playing music from their own cultural communities. Each 70-minute CD includes a 12-page booklet with information about the specific tunes and the Utah groups featured.

A project of the Utah Arts Council's Folk Arts Program, this series features music of Utah residents from the Latin American countries of the Caribbean and South America, from Mexico, and from Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado.
