When oil pressure is lost to the timing chain tensioner, the tensioner collapses and relieves the tension
on the timing chain allowing chain backlash and major valve train damage. With the stop block
installed, the primary tensioner will hit the guide stop block preventing valve failure, chain failure, and
prevents valve jumping due to runner failures.
