This listing is for a BEST Gasket complete/full gasket set
with copper head gaskets for 1938-42 Ford passenger cars and 1938-47
Ford trucks with the 221ci "24-stud" flathead V-8 engine.
Part Number RS505C.
This engine is referred to as a "24-stud" because each head requires 24
studs to fasten to engine block. Also to help with identification, the
221ci has a 3.062" standard cylinder bore; compared to the 3.187"
standard bore of the 239ci flathead.

generously thick .010" copper and a low-density graphite “filler”
sheet. This high-quality graphite sheet is superior to asbestos, which
