Grown in a 3 acre block on our Valley View Vineyard, Clone 6 Cabernet is typified by loose bunches with small berries that produce remarkable intensity of color, flavor and body.
The 2015 vintage of Lucas & Lewellen "Clone 6" Cabernet Sauvignon boasts dried cherry and berry aromas intermingled with dried herbs and charred beef tones. The palate is framed by leathery tannins, where flavors of oregano and peppercorn meet with barely ripe red fruit, providing a deep, evolving taste experience
This wine may be enjoyed now or it will continue to impress with bottle aging through 2030.
