The original goal of long-time grower Louis Lucas and wine enthusiast Judge Royce Lewellen was to grow the five red grapes of France’s most famous wine region, but they felt there was something missing. Carménère has a long history in Bordeaux that can be traced back to the Romans. Nearly ten years ago, we planted 3 acres and this is our third vintage.This exceptional wine is co-fermented with our "Clone 6" Cabernet Sauvignon, resulting in a bold, spicy, and complex flavor profile. Best enjoyed in its youthful vibrancy, this rich and earthy wine invites you to savor every sip.
