Roots:Coombsville is known for its moderate climate cooled by fog from the San Pablo Bay. In this unique climate, the fruit benefits form longer time on the vine and slow even ripening. The vineyard is located at the base of Mount George on a gentle slope facing westward towards the City of Napa. The soil is gravely loam over dense volcanic ash which is typical in this area. Foggy mornings and western facing light exposure help develop bright complex fruit with soft yet significant tannins.
