BROWN ALE
Description:
Light caramel, dark chocolate, fresh baked bread, nut, and honey character with a subtle citrus hop which balances the malt and enhances the dry, crisp finish.
Brewer’s Notes:
The Brown Ale was inspired by the old English nut brown ales popular in the 1800's. There are no nuts in the recipe; instead, we added a small amount of malted buckwheat which adds a unique aroma similar to dry roasted peanuts and enhances the nutty character.
