Séamus Merlot is sourced from the distinguished Ghisla Vineyard located just one mile from our tasting room in Kenwood, in the Heart of Sonoma Valley.

Situated next to the Sonoma Creek, this vineyard is an example of how cool breezes off the creek and soft soil create a beautiful smooth wine. Nestled by old willow trees, the ranch has been in the family since the 1930's and was a chicken farm owned and operated by the family's grandfather. The grapes were planted in the early 1990's and thrive in this deep and fertile ground, producing award winning wines.
