If you haven't heard of David Coffaro - give him a call - he has a great following for great wines at fair prices. THis blend has zinfandel with petite sirah and carignane and a few other goodies for a really fun brew.

50% Zinfandel, 25% Petite Sirah, 9% Carignan, 8% Syrah, 8% Peloursin.

This Block 4 blend is made from David’s oldest vines in Dry Creek Valley and exhibits lots of dark fruit flavors, cedar and spice. The Block 4 is surprisingly accessible while still showing some boldness.

While this would match well with medium-bodied foods, you may also wish to drink this with something a little spicy.
