Handley Petite Sirah 2017 - Redwood Valley

Handley Petite Sirah 2017 - Redwood Valley - An old school styled wine from an old school styled varietal.  We first showed this to some real wine fans, and they really enjoyed it.  A good earthy, slightly intense red.  By old school, you can tell it received minimal handling.  This wine  needs to breathe, as it was held safe without much racking. Decant for 15 minutes as it airs. This limited racking keeps the wine intact and holds the yeasty 'bottling notes'.  These aromas will aerate perfectly and allow the wine to show its best flavors and complexity. Minimal racking is an old-school technique to help protect the wine and reduce sulfite treatment. E.g. more naturally made.
