roots:The one-acre Andre Vineyard is located on the western side of the Oak Knoll District. This sub-appellation located in the southern end of Napa Valley, is known for cool, foggy mornings and less extreme afternoon heat. This provides the grapes a long, gentle ripening season. Planted on alluvial loam soil with plenty of light exposure, the grapes develop lush fruit flavor and spice with soft tannins for a wine that is complex, balanced, and elegant.
